About This Tea
Situated in the Mangaldai district of Assam and bordered by the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan, Orangajuli is a tradition well preserved in time. It's legacy continues to exist and flourish undisturbed and unhindered for over a century, where the garden has functioned smoothly even in the most adverse of situations. Orangajuli derives its name from the words "Oranga" and "Juri" which in local dialect means people living by a small stream. The special agro-climate of the area coupled with the foresight of the old Managerial staff, have given Orangajuli a blend of high quality clones of which the P126A has pride of place, giving the teas that unique flavour, which is renowned the world over.
