About This Tea
Annapurna is a brand of Rakura Group, the teas are made from specially cultivated leaves of Himalayan valley, which is pristine organic estate of Rakura Group which is located at the Himalayan region of upper Ilam in the eastern part of Nepal. Rooted in love and nurtured by nature, the estate lies at an altitude of 4,500 meters above sea level. The estate’s terrain is ideal for tea cultivation. There are mainly 5types of cultivars, Av2, Tukdah 73, Takdah 78, Goomte and Phuksoring which gives the yields exquisite fragrance and refined character. The whole end goal of our group is sustainability. Sustainability for farmers, community, Industry and country. Even today, Nepal stands as one of the impoverished countries in the world; hence, it is not just about us focusing on the usage of our resources or lessening our waste but also, on the survival of communities and their livelihoods, which is imperative for the collective sustenance of our nation. This inspiration of a poverty-free Nepal can only be possible if we help communities help themselves.
